National Council on Aging: Behavioral Health
Promote programs that help seniors cope with depression, anxiety, addiction, and other mental health issues

The Geriatric Mental Health Foundation Established to raise awareness of psychiatric and mental health disorders affecting the elderly, eliminate the stigma of mental illness and treatment, promote healthy aging strategies, and increase access to quality mental health care for the elderly

American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP) Staff and articles of the AAGP promote the mental health and improvement of mental healthcare for older Americans

The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) TSCL's work often addresses mental health issues, including the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illnesses

IMPACT: Evidence-Based Depression Care Research-based intervention for treating depression in older adults; depression education; and outcome management; provides information and materials to help providers and organizations utilize the IMPACT approach. Information on tools, training, and implementation of this treatment approach across the U.S. is also available
