STAR Center In Action- December 2016

STAR Center In Action – December 2016

Welcome to the December edition of the STAR Center Newsletter!

The STAR Center was in Austin, Texas this month working with Peer Run Organizations from across Texas! The Peer Run Organization Project is an exciting initiative of Via Hope that brings together executive directors and board members of peer run organizations on a quarterly basis to focus on their organizational development and sustainability. In collaboration with leadership from Via Hope, the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health and the Texas Mental Health and Substance Use Division, the STAR Center facilitated a dialogue on Organizational Sustainability and Collaboration Across Peer Run Organizations in both mental health and substance use recovery communities. It was an exciting conversation and opportunity for everyone involved.
